Host an International Student!
LPI Learning has teamed up with Northwest Student Exchange to find volunteer host families for international students coming to the United States for their education.
LPI Learning matches students with carefully screened volunteer host families who offer a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment. The Homestay program enables international students to develop lifelong friendships while they experience the customs and traditions with their American Host Family and Community.
NorthWest Student Exchange (NWSE) offers quality student exchange programs since 1987. We are committed to providing each student and host family with individual attention and support to help create an environment for a mutually rewarding exchange experience. Hosting an international student can be a life changing experience!

Host Family Responsibilities:
- Provide their exchange student with a safe and caring family environment, a bed, meals, a quiet place to study, and assistance with transportation.
- Host families are responsible for paying for groceries for the exchange student, all utility costs, as well gas needed to assist the student with transportation.
- Hosts are responsible for their student’s school registration and enrollment in classes. NWSE secures school acceptance for all exchange students.
Host Families are not responsible for the exchange student’s spending money and personal expenses such as costs for activities, travel, and school.
