Student Qualifications

Our Study in the USA-High School Program, participants must meet the following qualifications:

• Be between 14 and 18 years old (depending upon type of school)
• Have average grades (C) or better at their current school
• Have intermediate to advanced English ability
• Demonstrate social maturity, flexibility, and willingness to become a fully participating member of an American host family and host school

Students who participate in our Study in the USA-High School Program have a natural passion for learning, a desire to see the world, curiosity about other cultures, and an openness to new experiences.
