Randy LeGrant – GeoVisions, President
Randy LeGrant is the President of GeoVisions. He is responsible for all our sending programs…teach abroad, volunteer abroad, Au Pair, and Internship.Randy sits on the Tourism Advisory Board in the Recreation and Leisure Studies Department at Southern Connecticut State University. He was a founding member of the Volunteer Abroad Working Group for WYSE Work Abroad and was a founding member of the WYSTC Confederation Panel of Industry Experts at the World Youth Student & Education Travel Confederation.
In his spare time, Randy eats, lives and breathes Boston Red Sox baseball as a season ticket holder, and competes internationally as a 2nd Degree Black Belt in the Global TaeKwon-Do Federation.
Randy is currently in his 40th year in our industry, International Intercultural Exchange. After teaching High School English for 7-years, he started full time with AIFS (The American Institute For Foreign Study) in 1975 as a tour group leader and became a Vice President there until 1989. He has also served as a Director at AFS (American Field Service) and as the Executive Director of The Experiment in International Living (EIL) at World Learning before GeoVisions. Randy holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Kansas with emphasis on Higher Education Administration.
